Our timeline
I thought I'd post our timeline to how we got into Peace Corps.
June 27th 2006- Submitted application
July 13th- Phone interview
August 16thth - Nominated for EE or CA leaving September 2007
October - Sent in medical packets
November - Jesse dentally cleared
January 2007 - Carolyn dentally cleared
March 23rd - Medically cleared!!
April 9th - Invited on website.
April 13th - Received mail invitation and accepted to serve in Azerbaijan!
As of right now, we're still WAITING. This is the worst part of the whole process. Getting medical clearance was bad, but I was in control of all of that. If I hounded enough doctors and got all the paperwork done, I knew I could get clearance. But this is worse. We know that there is an envelope floating around the US with our future in it. We know it has all been decided, but we're just not privy to it. I suppose I'll have to update this timeline once we get actual departure dates and everything.
In other news, I am so excited that Jen had Drew!! He is a very cute baby! I can't wait to go meet him!
